Sylvan Learning Centers give tips, books for summer reading

June 18, 2014

While summer is a break from school, Sylvan Learning Centers in the Gig Harbor area don’t believe that the time off should be a break from learning. To help parents keep children reading, the learning centers offer tips and book lists for the summer.

Tips include: Let children choose the books, reward work and find out what other kids are reading. A book list is available through bookadventure.com.

For more, contact Gail Smith at the Gig Harbor center, gsmith.sylvan@comcast.net or call 253-851-5169.
