Toastmasters to host meeting at new spot

March 19, 2014

Sounding Board Toastmasters will hold a housewarming party on March 19 to celebrate a new location.

The event will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at Cottesmore of Life Care, 1016 29th St. NW. It is free to attend.

The theme will be “Discovery,” and a club member will deliver a speech about a recent trip to Thailand.

Eadie Kaltenbacher, the club’s vice president of public relations, will follow with a speech that ties together the themes of Discovery and Toastmasters.

After the speakers, members and guests will enjoy some components of a regular Toastmasters meeting, including Table Topics or impromptu speeches, as well as evaluations.
