Cheers & Jeers

Gateway readersMarch 12, 2014

CHEERS to Peninsula High School freshman Younglife students, leaders and parents for the spaghetti dinner fundraiser to help with my medical bills. To Harbor View fellowship for allowing us to us the church. To the stores and the Harvester Restaurant for donations. More than $8,000 was raised. My family and I felt like George Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

CHEERS to Peninsula High School for organizing the first Go Green 5-kilometer run and 2-mile walk to raise money for the school.

CHEERS to the wonderful customer at Kohl’s who turned in the cell phone I had left in my shopping cart. Your kindness will definitely be paid forward.
