State Reps. Larry Seaquist, D-Gig Harbor, and Jesse Young, R-Gig Harbor, are setting out on a tour of town halls.

The politicians from the 26th Legislative District will stop in Pierce and Kitsap counties to share news from the state Legislature and hear from the public.

The tour will kickoff from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Peninsula High School.

There will be three stops on Saturday:

 • 10 to 11:30 a.m., Key Center branch of the Pierce County Library System, 8905 Key Peninsula Highway N., Lakebay.

 • 2 to 3:30 p.m., Tremont Fire Department, 200 Tremont St., Port Orchard.

 • 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bremerton City Hall, 345 6th St., Suite 600, Bremerton.

The Peninsula Gateway is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
