Evergreen Performers to hold auditions for ‘HiTops’ production

January 15, 2014

The Evergreen Performers, a Christian drama team, is looking for young actors for “HiTops,” the group’s newest production.

The group is looking for six males, six females and several solo dancers to fill the roles of students at a high school.

In the play, a group of four students come to the school: Three are angels and one is boy named Luey, who turns out to be Jesus.

Auditions have ended, but the group is holding tryouts by appointment. Auditionees need a parent or guardian with them. They are expected to prepare a memorized monologue or poem and sing acapella.

Performances will be in the spring at churches in Tacoma, Port Orchard, Gig Harbor and at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Rehearsals also will include Bible studies and devotionals.

Rehearsals will be held at Peninsula Lutheran Church. For more information, call Sharon Cantrill at 253-884-4628 or email ev.perf@ integrity.com.
