Santa plans pit stop at airport, Hub restaurant

Business: Santa Claus will fly in to the Tacoma Narrows Airport on Saturday

of the GatewayDecember 18, 2013

He comes through chimneys and he flies by sleigh, but on Saturday afternoon Santa Claus will shake things up and take a plane.

It’s a quick stop on Saturday. Kriss Kringle will meet with visitors to The Hub at Gig Harbor, 1208 26th Ave. NW, Gig Harbor. Families are welcome to come by and chat with the Christmas legend, who will be inside the restaurant from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

It’s a weather-permitting event, but The Hub at Gig Harbor’s co-owner Pat Nagle is optimistic Mr. Claus will make it out. It’s one of several stops for Santa Claus at area airports.

The Hub at Gig Harbor, owned by Harmon Brewing, opened in September. The restaurant features a breakfast menu from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
