Two suspects have been arrested for widespread graffiti around Gig Harbor.
Arrests were made on Monday after police tracked two specific tags around town, Lt. Kelly Busey said. Both suspects, male age 17 and 19, admitted to the graffiti and were cooperative with the police.
It has not been determined if the charge — "malicious mischief" — is a felony or a misdemeanor. The charge is determined by the amount of damage. A felony is damage over $750, Busey said.
Busey said the suspects are likely responsible for 90 percent of the tagging in the city.
