Some notes to pass along:

Sterling Brown's game by the numbers:

- 310 yards on 43 carries

- Average of 7.36 yards per carry

- Long run of 30 yards

- 1 fumble in the redzone

- 2 touchdowns

Brown is now sitting at 998 yards for the year and should easily eclipse the 1,000 yard rushing mark next week against Yelm.

Peninsula and Gig Harbor are both undefeated in their respective leagues.

Peninsula Tennis reached its goal of winning the league, and won the League Sportsmanship award.

- Christian Lewis was voted player of the year

- Hayden Skidmore and Christian Lewis won the SPSL League Tournament in doubles. They will be seeded in the district tournament.

- Josh Wagner placed third in singles at the league tournament, qualifying him to go to districts, which is Nov. 1 at Sprinker.
