CHEERS to Earl and his lovely wife and family, who stopped to help me when my upper radiator hose blew while I was on the Purdy spit. They went the extra mile and drove me to an auto parts store to get a new hose and supplies, and then Earl repaired my car for me. It’s rare to see people have enough trust for their safety and be willing to stop and help anyone.
JEERS to all the construction going on at the same time in Gig Harbor. It is so disruptive and annoying. It’s hard to be patient and positive about it when I get stopped daily at now one-lane roads, and then again a half-mile down the road. Seems the timing could’ve been planned better.
CHEERS to young man who returned my wallet that I dropped in a barbershop parking lot. His honor was worth more to him than a few hundred dollars.
CHEERS to the kids and adults who were riding their bikes — all with helmets — near the library and Uptown Gig Harbor. Thank you from Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One.
CHEERS to Applebees at Uptown Gig Harbor. I ordered a take-out salad, and they forgot to put my salad dressing in the container. When I let them know, they delivered the dressing to my work.
CHEERS to Walt’s for its knowledgeable and first-class service. To submit a cheer or a jeer, email email@example.com. Jeers directed toward individuals or businesses will not be accepted.
