National Night Out draws crowd for evening filled with family fun and safety education.
The event was a community-wide event intended to promote crime prevention awareness and create a neighborhood spirit.
Gig Harbor Police, Pierce County Sheriff, The Washington State Patrol, Gig Harbor Fire, Neighborhood Watch and others attended the event.
Vendor booths hosted activities for children to partake in throughout the evening. Third in Line provided live music at the event.
The event was free and included a BBQ dinner for guests.
National Night Out events take place in communities around the nation in hopes of preventing crime and raising awareness.
