Peninsula Lutheran Church to host movie night

Peninsula Lutheran Church will host a community movie night with a showing of “Alvin and the Chipmunks — the Squeakuel” at 6:30 p.m. March 5 at 6509 38th Ave. NW in Gig Harbor.

Admission is free. Popcorn and candy will be provided. Children younger than 14 should be accompanied by an adult.

Financial Peace University to host finance lecture

Financial Peace University will host a 13-week financial freedom lecture, taught by Dave Ramsey, at 6:15 p.m. March 7 at Harbor Life Church, 4417 56th St. NW in Gig Harbor.

The program will teach families and individuals how to handle their money through common-sense principles and small group accountability.

Peninsula Lutheran Church will sponsor a seminar with guest presenter Carmen Gronewold from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 11 at 6509 38th Ave. NW in Gig Harbor.

A light lunch will be served, and the public is invited to attend.

Chapel on Echo Bay to host conditioning classes

The Chapel on Echo Bay will host strength and conditioning group classes from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. each Monday through Wednesday at 400 6th Ave. on Fox Island.

Those with all fitness levels are welcome.
