Evans, Day announce engagement

Julie Evans and Greg Day have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is a daughter of Larry and Candee Evans of Gig Harbor. She graduated from Peninsula High School in 1994 and Washington State University in 1997. She works for Russ Reid in Pasadena, Calif.

The groom-to-be is a son of Bill and Suzy Day of Somis, Calif. He attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and works at Securitas in Westlake Village, Calif. The couple plans to marry in March in Southern California.

McKnew, Bell announce wedding

Lauren Amber McKnew and Jeffrey Alex Bell were married June 20 in Bellingham.

The bride is a daughter of Lynda and David McKnew of Port Orchard. She graduated from Western Washington University and is finishing a master’s degree in business at the same institution.

The groom is a son of Robbie Bell of Gig Harbor. He graduated from Western Washington University and works for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The couple planned for a honeymoon on a Mediterranean cruise in September and will live in Bellingham.
