The annual Old Timers’ Day celebration last Saturday at the Longbranch Improvement Club entertained visitors from an array of locations, including London, England. Vendors, associations, clubs and others manned booths as fundraiser activities and for the edification of those interested.
Hamburgers and other offerings were available and a consortium of entertainers kept folks happy. Among them were the Zero Down Blues Band, under the leadership of Bill Anderson.
The major attractions were the old-time logging show and competitions with contestants from all over Western Washington. They played to one of the largest audiences in many years.
All proceeds went to support the activities of the Key Peninsula Community Services Food Bank.
