Harbor Covenant to host vacation Bible school

Harbor Covenant Church will host the “God’s Big Backyard 2009” vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon July 27-31 at 5601 Gustafson Drive NW in Gig Harbor.

There is no registration fee, but offerings for missionaries will be taken each day and collections taken for the Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH Food Bank.

Harbor Covenant to host worship services

Harbor Covenant Church will host worship services at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. throughout the summer, with fellowship and refreshment afterward, at 5601 Gustafson Drive NW in Gig Harbor.

Childcare will be available. The casual evening service will feature a variety of worship experiences with the same sermon as the morning.

Chapel Hill Church to host preschool camps in July

Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church will host preschool camps from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 6-23 at 7700 Skansie Ave. in Gig Harbor.

The Monday through Thursday camps will be for children 3 to 5 years old. Registration is required for one, two or all three weeks. Cost is $100 per week and includes lunch. Registration for children not enrolled at Chapel Hill is $120.

United Methodist to host vacation Bible school

The Gig Harbor United Methodist Church will host vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon July 27-31 at 7400 Pioneer Way in Gig Harbor.

The Theme will be “Calling all Heros — Veggie Tale VBS.”
