Fox Island Alliance Church hosts two corporate worship gatherings each Sunday.

Heritage

The 8:30 a.m. “Heritage” worship gathering is an inter-generational gathering consisting several worship elements. The choir often sings in this gathering. Hymns are almost always sung keeping true to their original melody. The service includes music of the past and a segment of the newer music of recent years performed in a modern way.

Horizons

The 11 a.m. worship gathering is called “Horizons”. This is also an inter-generational gathering, which is learning new songs all the time. The original lyrics of ancient hymns are often used, but usually with a whole new flavor and musical interpretation. The sermon is always the same in both gatherings each week.

For children

Children hold a special place in the heart of the members of Fox Island Alliance. This goal is accomplished through a variety of ministries:

Sunday School — A fun environment awaits all children on Sunday morning. Classes are provided for all ages and children will learn Bible stories, sing songs, do hands-on activities, and learn how the Bible applies to their lives. Children’s Ministries are held during the Morning Worship Service.

Children’s Church — Wee Church, ages 3-5 years old.

For young adults

The Young Adults are twenty-somethings and college age students. There are currently have two “young adult” small groups meeting during the week. For more information, call the church office at 253-549-2831.

For adults

Adult Bible classes — These are small groups on Sunday mornings designed for interaction, discussion and getting to know people in the church. Each quarter a new selection of topics is offered ranging from topical studies to book studies of the Bible. Class times are 9:45 through 10:45 a.m.

Homebuilders class

The Homebuilders class is really a community of people learning, growing, sharing, praying, servicing and laughing together. It is a small group atmosphere each Sunday morning to share a snack, a story, prayer requests and a lesson. Throughout the quarter groups gather outside of church for service projects and social gatherings.
