The Peninsula Athletic Association Fall Youth Volleyball Clinic will be held for eight weeks from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays at the Gig Harbor High School gym starting Sept. 16.

The Baseball Pitchers School has expanded and moved to the West Hills Performance Baseball Center, located at 4940 Auto Center Blvd. in Bremerton.
The opening date is scheduled for Sept. 15. The school hours are from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.
Individual and team pitching lessons are available. Registrations will be taken beginning Sept. 15.

The Gig Harbor Blue Ox girls select basketball team will hold tryouts from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 17-18 at Harbor Ridge Middle School.
The Blue Ox are expanding and will have sixth- , seventh- and eighth-grade teams that will compete in the Next Level league, along with tournament play, for the season.

The Gig Harbor Baseball and Sports Academy is accepting registrations for fall ball.
The season begins Sept. 8 and will run through Oct. 17. There will be six weeks of workouts twice a week.
Players will be instructed on hitting, fielding, baserunning and game situations. The fall program also includes speed and agility training.

The Key Pen Parks Department will offer an indoor soccer program designed for youths.

Day/date: Saturdays, from Aug. 26 through Oct. 14
Session one: Ages 8-9 from 9-9:50 a.m.
Session two: Ages 6-7 from 10 to 10:50 a.m.
Session three: Age 5 from 11 to 11:50 a.m.
Session four: Age 4 from noon to 12:50 p.m.
Fee: $49
Min/max: Ten to 25 per age group
A soccer challenge event for boys and girls 14 and younger will be held Oct. 3.
Each participant will receive one throw-in, one kick for distance, one dribbling trial and two goal shots as part of the competition. The free event will run regardless of weather conditions. Participants will need to bring a copy of their birth certificate.

A kickball league that will follow basic softball rules will be held this fall at Volunteer Park on the Key Peninsula.
The season will consist of a practice game, eight doubleheaders and a single-elimination league tournament. Games will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Sundays from Sept. 27 through Nov. 15. The fee is $180.
There will be four to eight teams, and one game ball will be provided to each team.
Managers will meet on Sept. 22 at 7 a.m. at the park office.
Catching classes will be held this fall at the Gig Harbor Baseball and Sports Academy. The sessions will be held each Sunday in October and the first four Sundays in November.
The cost is $265 and includes all eight sessions. The times are from 5 to 6:15 p.m. for those 9-12, and from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. for those 13-18.
