March 14 Medics treated an elderly man after he complained of weakness and not being able to speak. The man was transported to an area hospital.
March 15 A senior citizen called for help after locking herself out of her home. Firefighters helped her gain access to the home.
March 16 Responders treated a man who had fallen. After it was determined that the patient was suffering from a life-threatening heart rhythm, advanced life support measures were completed. The victim was transported to an area hospital for continued treatment.
March 17 A Longbranch woman called 9-1-1 after experiencing chest pain. The woman was treated at the scene before being transported to an area hospital.
March 18 An excavator fire on 128th Street KPN was reported to 9-1-1. Upon arrival, crews found the engine compartment ablaze. Water with a foam agent was used to extinguish the blaze. The heavy earth-moving equipment was being used at a brush-clearing controlled burn.

March 17 Fire communications requested that crews respond to the scene of a driver who was trapped by power lines. The caller failed to mention that they had collided with a power pole. Firefighters waited for Peninsula Light Co. crews to render the scene safe. It was determined that the linas were cable lines, which pose no shock danger. The driver was uninjured.
March 18 Firefighters responded to a wooded area behind a Gig Harbor grocery store for a possible unknown type of fire. Upon arrival, crews discovered the fire was being tended to by a transient man who was heating water for tea. The man extinguished the fire once his water was warm enough for his drink.
March 19 An 87-year-old woman summoned help from firefighters after a home nurse discovered the bedridden womans legs had swollen. Crews loaded and transported the ailing woman to an area hospital for treatment.
March 20 A 55-year-old Gig Harbor man was brought to a clinic by his wife after he had complained of what he initially thought was heartburn for several days. It began to worsen, and there was onset of chest pain and shortness of breath. A worker at the clinic called 9-1-1 after the mans symptoms worsened. The man was treated and rushed to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment.
