Community to honor PSD grads at annual banquet

Nominations due Dec. 4 for 2010 Alumni of Distinction

Do you know someone who’s made a difference in our world? They may be eligible for a 2010 Alumni of Distinction award. The Peninsula Gateway, Rainier Pacific Bank and the Peninsula School District are teaming up for a third consecutive year to recognize former graduates of peninsula-area high schools.

Nominations are due Friday, Dec. 4.

Eligible alumni include anyone, living or deceased, who graduated from Gig Harbor, Peninsula or Henderson Bay high schools five or more years ago.

Graduates must have contributed to their professions, their community or mankind in general by dedicating service to others or the personal attainment of unique goals or accomplishments.
