Gig Harbor Artist studio tour this weekend

Local works will be demonstrated in artists’ own homes on peninsulas

This weekend, 23 local artists will open their studios to visitors during the annual Open Studio Tour.

The two-day, self-guided tour will take place between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and will allow visitors to view some of the area’s most creative individuals at work.

Juried artists will perform demonstrations in a variety of media, such as woodworking, painting, glass etching and sculpting.

The studios span Gig Harbor, Fox Island and the Key Peninsula.
