The Key Peninsula Community Fair will be held July 10-13 at 5514 Key Peninsula Highway N. in Lakebay. The annual event attracts more than 8,000 visitors each year. The fair still needs volunteers, sponsors and vendors. Visit www.keyfair.org or call 253-884-4386.
The Key Peninsula Lions Club will sponsor the 19th annual 10-kilometer Volksmarch on July 12 at Penrose Point State Park.
The start time is 8 a.m. and all walkers must be off the trail by 4 p.m. The march will start at the Ulsh property off Ulsh Road on the Key Peninsula.
The well-marked trail from the Ulsh property passes into Penrose park, where it enters primeval forest, skirts along Puget Sound and returns to the starting point.

The Key Peninsula Lions Club will hear from 26th Legislative District candidate Jan Angel at about why she should be elected to the position at 7 p.m. July 16 at the Key Peninsula Civic Center in the VFW Room.
