Restaurant items stolen March 8 — A man called police to report the theft of an expensive grill and another similar item. The value of the items was about $1,200, according to the police report. There were no suspects at the time of the report.

Man ill March 6 — An 82-year-old man fell in his bathroom at about 9 p.m. but wasn’t found until the next day, when a friend went to check on him. Paramedics examined the man and found no trauma from the fall, but they transported him to an area hospital for further evaluation.
